Restorative Practices

Build strong communities and relationships

We work with schools and organizations to help foster a deep sense of community and collective responsibility. Rooted in centuries of Indigenous traditions around the world, this approach encourages relationship building and social-emotional wellness, equipping all members of the community with effective tools for preventing and repairing potential hurt or harm.

Having been trained by esteemed organizations such as the International Institute for Restorative Practices, our team supports learning communities in developing, implementing, and monitoring restorative structures and practices, such as the following:

  • Restorative communications, conversations and questions

  • Restorative circles (e.g., community building circles, listening circles, problem-solving circles, content-based circles, etc.)

  • Fair process (in decision making)

  • Restorative conferences for conflicts (as part of a restorative justice approach to discipline)
